Pro Audio Services delivered a comprehensive studio upgrade for Music Inc in Middlesbrough, working closely with the client and our good friends at Sound Studio Solutions to develop a flexible, multi-use recording and production facility.

Working collaboratively throughout the project, we helped design and integrate a professional analogue and digital hybrid workflow, centred around an Audient ASP4816 mixing console. This is complemented by Universal Audio Apollo x16 and Universal Audio Apollo x8p interfaces, providing high-quality conversion and seamless integration between analogue and digital systems. Control is handled via SSL UF8 and SSL UF1 controllers, paired with a new Apple Mac Studio system to deliver a powerful and responsive production environment.

Monitoring is provided by ATC SCM25A loudspeakers, ensuring accurate and detailed playback for critical listening and mixing applications.

A key part of the project involved the design and installation of a bespoke studio desk, purpose-built to house the mixing console, outboard equipment, and control surfaces. This was combined with the custom fabrication and wiring of bantam patchbays, configured specifically to suit the client’s workflow and the demands of a multi-use studio environment.

From system design and equipment specification through to installation, wiring, and commissioning, this project delivers a cohesive, professional studio setup that offers both flexibility and high-performance operation for a wide range of recording and production applications.
