Line-Array Sound Systems

For medium to large-scale events, outdoor performances and audience areas requiring even coverage over distance, we deploy professional line-array sound systems. These systems are designed to project sound efficiently and consistently across wide audience areas, making them ideal for festivals, large concerts, outdoor events and other demanding live productions.

Line-array systems allow for precise control of sound dispersion and coverage, helping to minimise unwanted reflections and noise spill while maintaining clarity and impact throughout the audience area. Systems are carefully configured, positioned and tuned on site to suit the venue, audience layout and performance requirements.

Our investment in TT+ Audio gives us access to a flexible, scalable line-array system built for professional live production. Our GTX10 line-array systems are powered by the XPS16K amplifier platform, providing the processing and control required to deliver consistent performance across a wide range of events.

Point Source Sound System Hire

For smaller to mid-scale events, indoor venues, and applications where more compact or distributed deployment is required, we supply professional point-source sound systems. These systems offer excellent clarity and control in spaces such as clubs, halls, marquees, temporary venues and smaller outdoor events.

Our TT+ Audio GT8 point-source speakers can be deployed as standalone systems or alongside our GTX10 line-array systems, providing additional flexibility where focused coverage is required. This makes them particularly useful for front fills, delays, distributed coverage and other applications where precise control is needed without deploying a full line-array system.

We also have GTS19 single 19-inch subwoofers, which can be used with point-source systems or incorporated into larger system configurations where additional low-frequency coverage is required.

Public Address System Specification & Deployment

We don’t take a one-size-fits-all approach to sound system design. Every system is specified around the event, audience, venue and required coverage, with the appropriate combination of loudspeakers, subwoofers, amplification and processing selected for the application.

Our TT+ Audio ecosystem gives us the flexibility to scale systems and combine different elements while maintaining a consistent sonic character across the deployment.

In addition to our GTX10 line-array and GT8 point-source systems, we also offer the versatile GTS29 double 19-inch subwoofers and GTS19 single 19-inch subwoofers in our inventory. These subwoofers enable us to create a wide range of audio setups, from precise point-source configurations to expansive outdoor events. With the capability to cater to various sound requirements, our equipment ensures that every performance is delivered with exceptional clarity and power.

Systems can be modelled and configured using RDNet and RDShape, allowing us to plan coverage, system deployment and alignment before the event. On site, systems are positioned, configured and tuned by experienced audio professionals to achieve consistent coverage and reliable performance throughout the audience area.

All sound systems are specified based on:

  • Event size and audience numbers
  • Indoor or outdoor environment
  • Venue acoustics and layout
  • Required coverage and system configuration
  • Performance type and technical requirements

Where required, systems can be supplied as dry hire or fully supported with experienced sound engineers to manage setup, system operation and live mixing.

Stage Monitor Wedge Speakers

Effective stage monitoring is essential to any live performance, allowing performers to hear themselves and each other clearly while maintaining confidence and timing on stage.

We supply professional wedge monitor systems for live events of all sizes, from small stages through to complex multi-artist productions. Our wedges deliver clear, powerful sound with controlled dispersion to minimise spill and feedback, and are configured to suit stage layout, performer positions, and musical style. Careful placement and tuning ensure maximum clarity while keeping stage volume under control.

In-Ear Monitoring (IEM) Systems

For events requiring greater control over stage sound levels or more complex monitoring requirements, we supply professional in-ear monitoring (IEM) systems. IEMs provide performers with clean, isolated monitor mixes, allowing precise control of balance and levels while significantly reducing on-stage noise. This not only improves clarity for performers, but also enhances overall sound quality at front of house by minimising spill and feedback.

Our in-ear monitoring systems can be configured to support multiple performers and mixes, using a combination of wired and wireless solutions as required. Systems are fully integrated with the wider monitoring and RF infrastructure, ensuring reliable performance throughout rehearsals and live shows.

In-ear monitoring is particularly well suited to larger productions, touring artists, and technically demanding environments where consistency, clarity, and feedback control are critical. It is also ideal for stages with limited space, high sound pressure levels, or where precise monitoring is required for click tracks, backing tracks, or time-coded performances.

Monitor Mixing & Control

All stage monitoring systems are supported by appropriate mixing and control infrastructure, allowing for multiple independent monitor mixes where required. Our systems can be configured for simple shared mixes or more complex multi-mix setups depending on the needs of the performers.

Where required, experienced monitor engineers can be provided to manage monitor mixes during rehearsals and performances, ensuring performers have the support they need throughout the event.

System Setup & Integration

Stage monitoring systems are installed and configured by experienced audio professionals, ensuring correct positioning, gain structure, and system tuning. Monitoring is integrated seamlessly with the front-of-house sound system, microphones, and backline to provide a stable and predictable performance environment.

All systems are deployed with reliability in mind, using professional-grade equipment and infrastructure suitable for live event conditions.

How much does it cost to hire a PA system for an event?

Prices start from as little as £40+VAT for single speakers, £80+VAT for a simple PA systems and increase according to event spaces, audience sizes and performance/content requirements (conference/speech, live music, rock music, club/DJ music and so on).

How far in advance should I book a PA system for my event?

We recommend booking at least a couple of weeks in advance for smaller events, but we can help with last-minute urgent bookings too, as we have a reasonable stock of equipment. For larger festivals and productions, we work with clients a few months, or even a year or more, in advance to ensure all details are finalised well in advance.

Do you provide delivery and set-up services for the hired sound system?

We provide delivery and setup services. Our ‘Dry Hire’ service allows customers to collect equipment from our warehouse and return it after their event. We offer ‘Transport Only’ service, where we deliver equipment to an event location and leave customers to set it up and then collect after the customer has dismantled ready for us to collect. Our ‘Delivery, Setup and Collection’ service includes delivery, setup, demonstration, and return of equipment. We also offer a fully managed service, where our technical team remains on site for the duration of the event from setup.

Can I hire additional microphones and speakers along with the PA system?

We provide a comprehensive range of equipment to enhance any booking. Microphones for instruments, vocals, and special cases like boundary microphones. We also offer wireless radio microphones, DI boxes, instrument cables, XLR cables, multicore cables, stage boxes, speaker stands, and more.

Are there any restrictions on where I can use the hired sound system?

No restrictions from an event location point of view. Certain speakers and equipment must not be used outdoors, but we do offer outdoor speaker systems that can be used in most places. We are also able to supply portable power sources, so you can run small speakers remotely without the need for mains connections.

What happens if there are technical issues with the PA system during my event?

We can help customers remotely to solve problems, either on a video call or over the phone. If an issue is beyond remote solution, we’ll send a technician to the event site as soon as possible to ensure uninterrupted events. Technicians who are working at the events will always mitigate any issues and ensure events run smoothly.

Do I need to provide any additional equipment or cables when hiring a PA system?

We always discuss events with customers, so we have a complete understanding of what is required. By doing this we are then able to specify correct types and amounts of cable. Microphone cables, speaker cables and power cables are supplied as part of packages. If a customer needs more cable for something, they need only ask and we can add to the project specification.

Can I adjust the sound levels and settings on the hired PA system myself?

The type of event and use case determine the mixer/mixing desk. Most systems we provide come with a mixer that allows easy sound level adjustment. In some cases, the mixer is built into the speaker, with a simple dial on the back to reduce sound levels.
