Shropshire Rock Choir – Power of Song Charity Event

Sharing is caring!

On 20th June 2026, the Shropshire Rock Choir presented its inspiring Power of Song charity concert at the magnificent Shrewsbury Abbey, raising funds in support of Lingen Davies Cancer Support. The evening featured outstanding performances from the local Rock Choir, joined by special guests soprano Joanna Cooke and the Toscana Strings string quartet.

To ensure every choir member could be seen by the audience, we designed and built a tiered stage, creating an impressive visual presentation while making the most of the Abbey’s stunning setting.

Our production team also provided a professional sound engineer and digital mixing console, delivering clear, balanced audio throughout the performance. To complement the venue’s natural beauty, we installed a carefully selected lighting package that enhanced the atmosphere without distracting from the choir’s performance, subtly illuminating the magnificent architecture of Shrewsbury Abbey.

It was a privilege to support such a memorable evening, combining thoughtful staging, high-quality audio, and sympathetic lighting to help create an unforgettable concert for both performers and audience while contributing to an important charitable cause.
