Live Sound & Lighting Production for 9-Piece Band Performance
Saturday 7th March 2026 saw us provide professional sound and lighting production for a live performance featuring a dynamic nine-piece R&B band, including a full string quartet. The show required a carefully balanced audio system capable of delivering clarity and detail across both contemporary band instrumentation and acoustic strings within the reverberant space of Sheffield Cathedral.
To achieve this, we deployed part of our awesome new TT+ Audio GTX10 line array system, along with GTS19 single 19″ subwoofers and GT8 delayed fill speakers. The system provided powerful, clear, high-definition sound coverage throughout the audience area, while maintaining the precision needed for the more delicate elements of the performance.
The stage setup included multiple radio microphone systems and wireless in-ear monitoring (IEM) system, allowing performers to receive clean, consistent monitor mixes while keeping stage volume under control. This approach ensured excellent clarity for the musicians while supporting a well-balanced front-of-house mix for the audience.
Our team handled the full audio system design, deployment, and operation, alongside a complementary lighting setup to enhance the atmosphere of the performance. The result was a polished production that allowed the musicians to perform with confidence while delivering an engaging and immersive experience for the audience.
