Continuing the R&B Classics tour, the show arrived at the Liquid Rooms in Edinburgh for another fantastic night of live music. As with the other dates on the tour, we provided one of our in-house sound engineers along with wireless in-ear monitoring (IEM) systems, ensuring the performers had clear and reliable monitoring throughout the show.
One of the unique aspects of this tour has been the variety of venues and audio systems encountered along the way. With each venue featuring a different mixing console, our sound engineer has had the opportunity, and challenge, of adapting to a range of desks while maintaining a consistent sound for the performers.
In Edinburgh, he had the pleasure of mixing on a DiGiCo Quantum console. With support from the venue’s sound engineer, he quickly familiarised himself with the desk and was able to deliver a polished mix for the evening’s performance. The result was another successful show, enjoyed by a packed and enthusiastic crowd.
