This year marked our 8th year providing production services for Nozstock Festival. We are proud to have been chosen as the sole event production supplier for the Orchard Stage. We were delighted to return and provide full sound and lighting production for the main stage. This was the largest deployment of our flagship TT+ GTX Line-Array sound system to date. It delivered powerful, clear and consistent sound throughout the stage arena.

The system consisted of nine GTX10 line-array modules per side, supported in the low-frequency domain via the mighty GTS29 double 19″ subwoofers. A pair of GT8 double 8″ point source speakers performed as front-fills to ensure those audience members at the front could hear all the details of every performance.

Our technicians prepared the system deployment ahead of time using RCF/TT+ RDShape, to predict the array mechanics and ensure the system provided plenty of coverage. RDNet provided control of the XPS16K amplifiers, allowing our sound engineers to load the system design into the units ahead of time and also provide system monitoring and control throughout the weekend.

Many people, both organisers and audience alike, commented throughout the event, and since, that the sound was the best they’d heard at the stage. From a technical standpoint the system provided ample headroom for both our house engineers and touring engineers alike, with a level that just seemed to keep going and never ran out. With a wide range of artists performing across the weekend, and a diverse range of musical genres, it really proved to our team that the TT+ system was very much the best investment into the future of sound deployment for our customer’s events.

Our lighting deployment helped to bring each performance to life and complement the artist’s music. The lighting rig consisted of a variety of moving head spots, beams and washes alongside pixel battens and strobes to help ensure every type of music was enlivened with a fantastic light show.

Our Chamsys MQ500 console provided ultimate control for our lighting engineer to ensure they could get the best of the fixtures and keep the crowd partying into the night. Stalwart crew from the event were impressed by the lighting show and regularly complimented our engineer’s performance efforts.
