Loopfest Castle Stage

Loop Fest 2026

Sharing is caring!

Castle Stage

The Castle is one of Shrewsbury’s most iconic event spaces, and we were delighted to return once again to provide production for the Castle Stage at Loopfest, one of the town’s premier live music festivals. This year’s event saw us deliver a complete technical solution, including staging, sound, lighting, and LED video wall systems for a packed weekend of live entertainment.

Loopfest 2026 also marked the first outdoor deployment of our new TT+ Audio system. Using RDShape and RDNet for system design, prediction, and optimisation, we were able to create a solution that delivered consistent coverage throughout the audience area while maintaining exceptional clarity and headroom.

The system comprised GTX10 line array elements, supported by GTS29 dual 19-inch subwoofers for powerful low-frequency reproduction and GT8 point source loudspeakers providing front-fill coverage. The result was a system that delivered both the impact required for energetic festival performances and the detail needed for visiting engineers to produce great mixes.

Throughout the weekend, guest engineers repeatedly commented on the performance of the system and were keen to learn more about the brand behind it.

Working within the constraints of a compact festival canopy always presents challenges for lighting design, requiring careful planning to maximise visual impact without the luxury of extensive rigging positions. Despite these limitations, our lighting team created a dynamic and versatile rig that complemented the diverse range of artists performing across the weekend, adding energy and atmosphere to every set.

Alongside the audio and lighting provision, we installed a vibrant LED video wall used for artist branding, event information, and sponsor advertising. The screen played an important role in enhancing audience engagement while providing valuable opportunities for event partners and sponsors. Our video team managed content delivery throughout the festival and also supported operations on the Quarry Stage, working alongside fellow local production suppliers to ensure a coordinated and professional presentation across multiple areas of the event.

As a long-standing fixture in the local events calendar, Loopfest continues to be a highlight of the summer season. It was a pleasure to once again contribute to the success of the festival and help deliver another memorable weekend of live music in the heart of Shrewsbury.

Quarry Stage

We provided a 4m x 2.5m video wall for the Quarry Stage at Loop Fest this year, adding a strong visual element to enhance the audience experience.
