This was our third year providing production for CEX’s Annual General Meeting, with workers travelling from across the UK and abroad to take part in this unique three-day festival. We provided PA, lighting and video production across the event, creating three distinct areas, each with its own atmosphere and purpose.

The main arena, where the AGM took place, featured a full PA system, lighting and video wall, supported by a dedicated sound engineer, lighting technician and video engineer. Alongside the AGM, attendees enjoyed a packed programme of entertainment, including live performances from bands such as Stiff Bizkit and a Charleston lesson, all tying in with this year’s 1920s theme.

In the Dingly Dell, we created a dedicated entertainment space using two TT+ single 19″ subwoofers in cardioid configuration and four TT+ GT8 tops. This provided the sound system for cabaret performances, karaoke and dancing well into the night.

The third area was dedicated to gaming, where we supplied a large video wall to provide an impressive backdrop for gaming tournaments. We also provided a dedicated video engineer to film a live Dungeons & Dragons game, which took place twice during the weekend.

With three completely different spaces to deliver, this was a fantastic production challenge and another successful year supporting CEX’s annual event.
