LitH – Belshazzar’s Feast

This folk duo’s name is the same as the Rembrandt painting, which famously depicts the story of Belshazzar and the writing on the wall, which originates in the Old Testament Book of Daniel. But don’t let that put you off!

One previous reviewer said “Their music is breathtaking and wickedly inventive and the between-tunes interchange as intelligent and hilarious as the music”. This statement is true.

Their performance was musically engaging, inventive and spellbinding. The conversation, between the duo themselves, and between them and the audience, was both interesting and funny. It was a rare treat just before the Christmas & New Year’s break in the Live in the House calendar.
